The Fingerprint Sensor Module uses an advanced fingerprint recognition algorithm to extract unique biometric features from a captured fingerprint image and convert them into a compact digital template. Instead of storing and processing the complete fingerprint image, the module performs feature-based storage, comparison, and identification, enabling faster and more efficient biometric authentication. The fingerprint processing system generally consists of two main operations: fingerprint enrollment and fingerprint matching. During enrollment, the user places the same finger on the sensor multiple times so that the system can capture and analyze different impressions of the fingerprint.
