An LM35DZ Precision Centigrade Temperature Sensor is an integrated-circuit analog temperature sensor whose output voltage is linearly proportional to the Celsius (Centigrade) temperature. Encapsulated in a standard 3-pin plastic TO-92 package, it does not require any external calibration or trimming to provide typical accuracies of 0.5°C at room temperature. Printed clearly with part number "LM35DZ" (National Semiconductor / Texas Instruments branding), it operates with a low self-heating effect (less than 0.08°C in still air) and generates a linear output scale factor of 10 mV/°C
